TRAFFIC ISLAND, BHARUCH CIRCLE

This is a big traffic island located just outside Bharuch railway station. The theme is based on Nirmal Gujarat, so it contains waterfall. Bharuch city is known for its music colleges so the circle contains 8 musical instruments carved out of stone placed all around the circle.

TRAFFIC ISLAND, HALOL CIRCLE

The site is 35 kms away from Vadodara city. The circle is located at Halol-Champaner road which is an enterance to the world heritage site of Champaner. The main concept was to design a circle by retaining the architectural characteristics of Champaner. So a total stone structure is designed with a carving similar to Champaner structures. Due to heavy traffic only stone material is used which do not require any maintenance. The diameter of the circle is 25 mts.

This traffic island was specially created for jyotigram yojna of GEB. The aim of GEB jyotigram is to supply electricity to all villages of Gujarat.
